This
page is dedicated to the memory of my godfather Kenneth Lee who was taken from
us too soon. The poem below is the one I composed as a tribute to him for my Aunt
Gaik Hong who kindly asked me to read it as part of the eulogy at the funeral.
The sketch below is one that accompanied the poem created by Don. Uncle Kenneth
was also looking after the chubby little girls (that explains me!) within his
circle and he was a wonderful, generous, giving man.
Aunty Gaik Hong is now the godmother to my two sons,
Jamie and JD with Jamie's middle name being Kenneth
in loving memory of this wonderful man.
I shall miss him greatly and will think of him always as the kindest godfather.

My Uncle Kenneth
My Uncle Kenneth was a man who loved many
His compassion and consideration for others will always be remembered
His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him
My Uncle Kenneth was a wonderful man
I will always remember him as a loving, caring and kind man
Who made me feel so special and loved
I remember him whisking me away to taste forbidden delights
Hot chocolate, ice cream, so many things
He was my godfather who looked out for me.
I shall miss his laugh, his bear hugs
The way he enjoys making others happy
His kind gestures have touched so many in his life
He will not be forgotten.
I will remember him the way I last saw him
Laughing, filled with happiness
Surrounded by the people he loved and who loved him
Wearing his Manchester United cap
Enjoying his ice-cream.
This is one of the best ways I can pay tribute to him
To his integrity, caring and generosity
My children will know him as my godfather - a dear man
He has touched my life in so many ways
I will love him always
My Uncle Kenneth.
